Only 24 hours after La Usurpadora, Serbian death ’n’ roll band Fernando Colunga Ultimate Experience has released yet another song. This one is titled Día De Muertos and it is meant to be a sort of a present for the band’s Mexican and Latin American fans.
This trio has, because of the large interest awakened among fans of (not only) metal music from Mexico mainly due to their name, left their self-proclaimed hiatus and continued their work. While “Inhale My Misery” (a song published during July this year) and “La Usurpadora” present a continuation of that change and experiment of a kind with death ‘n’ roll sound, “Dia De Muertos” sounds more like band’s early efforts. A mixture of slamming death metal and grindcore which can be heard in it is a perfect tune for the Day of the Dead.
The music, arrangements, production, mixing and mastering have been done by Stefan Milenković (guitar, bass and drum programming on this song; ex-Transfer Blama, ex-Pripjat) in “Inferno” studio in Požarevac, Serbia. Lyrics are sung by vocalist Antonio Jovanović.
